After a hard time choosing, I've decided that Design 5 of the sketches is the best possible solution to ergonomic problems of the spoon. I've further hand-drawn a technical drawing of the product. I really hope this product turns out well under the 3D printer. It could help many people out there.
Last week we were assigned to make sketches for a product to be 3D printed. I chose to repurpose and redesign a parkinson-friendly spoon as my main subject. People with Parkinson's disease struggles with eating as they shake a lot. This design can solve the issue by adding a cover or a seal to a spoon, so that food will not fall off.
